Announced today: NHS Public Consultations on Nov 6 and Nov 13 on location of Emsworth Surgery

The NHS have today called two public consultation meetings about the future of the Emsworth Doctors’ surgery. It’s very short notice.

The dates and venues are:

  •  Tuesday 6 November at Westbourne Baptist Church, The Grove PO10 8UL 5.30-7.30

  • Tuesday 13 November at Emsworth Slipper Sailing Club, The Quay, South Street, PO10 7EQ 5.30-7.30

The document attached mentions four options for the Doctor’s location: Stay where they are; Go to the Redlands Grange site; Go to the refurbished Emsworth Victoria Cottage Hospital site; or find a new site.

The meetings are drop in events where you can talk to Doctors and NHS people. We hope, as members of ECLT, you will try and make your views known at these meetings. Attached is the official notification from the NHS. Queues are expected…..

Everyone who attends will receive a survey form. The NHS say that the same survey will be online from November 6 – so if you can’t make a meeting – please do make your views known on a survey form via this link: www.southeasternhampshireccg.nhs.uk (Hope you can find it – it’s a big site!)
Hope to see you at one or other meeting!

Best wishes from the Emsworth Community Land Trust team
